This was a very eventful leg of our big trip affectionately known as "Sydney to Uluru and all the way back". Crossing into the Northern Territory was big moment as it was a first for all of us.

Definitely stop off here for a great photo opportunity and to learn about the History of the Cacoory Homestead.
A take your breath away moment ...driving though the red dirt and coming across a oasis full of green grass, swallows, pelicans and cows. The water runs underneath the road. Amazing
Brunch stop with a great Park for the kids to play and stretch their legs.
Lunch stop spot and a visit with some travelling "racing camels" who were out feasting on the local council trees. Good rest spot.
Late night stopover and swim in the pool. All communications back on tray with phones beeping, computers connection and a Maccas in sight.
Lunch stop and park for kids to stretch thier legs but also a unique experience of being dive-bombed by hungry Kytes
Well worth a drop in for a bite to eat, walk around the Homestead and visit with the friendly Galahs. Our first stop in the Northern Territory
Fabulous stay and Bush Tucker show with Jimmy James Hooker - a local aboriginal man who spoke if his life, poetry and gave a hands on bush tucker deomonstration.
